Happy Friday, friends! There’s nothing like a Friday afternoon with the whole weekend ahead of you. It’s without a doubt one of my favorite times of the week! This look above is a fun one for having a night out of the town with friends or significant others. The faux leather dress adds a little bit of edge while the ruffles along the waist add a chic feminine flair. I love the dress alone, but also paired with a top underneath like this leopard one. For practical reasons, it’ll keep you warm, but it also adds a nice pop of pattern!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! We have some church events, a bonfire, and going to a pumpkin patch planned. The weather looks like its going to be spectacular too. Cheers everyone!

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! Ava and I enjoy taking walks to see the leaves starting to pop with their brilliant colors and decided to do one after having just gotten out of church this past Sunday. The weather was still warm and there was the peaceful calmness in the air that only a Sunday afternoon can bring. The sun peeked through every now and then with a nice golden glow giving the leaves a more vibrant image.

This outfit combines two of my favorite fall fabrics, tweed and velvet. The tweed top from Julie Brown NYC has the prettiest specks of blush, light blue, and shimmering gold threads in it. The ruffles add a feminine touch. It’s also a nice heavy fabric with excellent quality. When I first put this look together I thought how lovely it would be for a holiday gathering, Thanksgiving or even Christmas. During the fall months it would make a fantastic date night outfit too! To add an extra dose of something special, I wore these glitter pumps. My kind of ruby slippers, light pink style. They’re even more stunning in person and fit true to size.

Good morning, friends! I can hardly believe this is the last day of April. Hopefully all of our April showers are going to bring an abundance ance of May flowers! Some of the trees are already starting to bloom around here too. For any *NSYNC fans out there, today they are getting their star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. I am beyond excited for this and hoping they have a little reunion during the ceremony. I would be happy with just one song even! I was really hoping for a reunion during the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake performing, but alas, that did not happen. This is the last time I can see them being together for a while so fingers crossed!! You can watch the ceremony on www.hollywoodwalkoffame.com at 2:30pm EST. 

A few posts back I wore a lavender dress with mint accessories and mentioned how I had worn the same color combination recently, but reversed. This is the reversed outfit! I really love the color combo and couldn’t resist pairing them together again. This mint dress with tiered ruffle sleeves is so much fun! It’s elegant, but with a cool twist. The fit is relaxed and falls just above the knee.

I think we all can agree that a wrap dress is one of the most universally flattering dresses there is. It skims the body perfectly accentuating your curves and hides any problem areas with ease. This burgundy one feels so comfortable to wear and the color is flawless for fall and even the upcoming holiday season. This dress works for an incredible amount of various occasions too. Imagine wearing it to work with a chic pair of heels and then going to dinner and drinks afterwards. As I mentioned, it also works for any holiday parties, special events, or even to run around town on the weekend. Swap out the heels for some flats or mules and you have an elevated casual look. It's truly a winner all around! It fits true to size.

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! Today I'm very excited to be partnering with Julie Brown NYC to tell you about an amazing contest to win a $150 gift card to their store! Who doesn't love a little fall shopping spree?! The coat and tweed dress I'm wearing above are both from their new fall line and I have to tell you, I'm absolutely in love with both pieces. The berry colors in both the dress and coat are beyond gorgeous. Ava could not stop touching the coat too, haha. She kept saying "mommy's coat! mommy's coat!" and wanted to hold it. The dress even has suede paneling along the side that is so soft and adds a unique little twist. The other items in their fall catalogue are equally drool worthy, I'm particularly eyeing this coat which would be perfect for fall and winter! I'm wearing a size P in the dress and a size 2 in the berry coat.

Butterscotch Cardigan

One of my most favorite seasons is approaching and I simply cannot wait. As each day grows closer, I grow more and more excited with anticipation. Summer is still rocking, but around this time I like to start sprinkling fall looks into my wardrobe. Luckily, this whole upcoming week we're supposed to have "fall like" weather with cool mornings, evenings and warm sunny afternoons in the 70s. Cardigans and layering pieces are an absolute staple for me in the fall. This butterscotch one from Julie Brown NYC has a subtle golden shimmer along with ribbing and cables. The open style makes this flattering for every body type. The butterscotch shade is a beautiful neutral that will pair with a variety of items in your wardrobe. It also comes in five different shades! I'm loving the spiced wine in particular!

Hello, friends! Today is all about "going out" style with this gorgeous cocktail dress from Julie Brown NYC. I adore the gold foil print! It instantly caught my eye and shimmers in the prettiest way when the light catches it. I received many compliments while out shooting it too. To me, gold is one of those colors you cannot go wrong with. It warms up your complexion and as a metallic color, matches just about anything paired up with it. If I could only choose one color to have as my cocktail dress, gold would be it.
