Fall Favorites

Good morning and happy Monday, everyone! What a fabulous weekend Ava and I had. The weather was spectacular and we got to see so many wonderful friends and family at some pretty fun events!

Over the weekend I was thinking about some of my favorite fall looks from last year and wanted to put this post together as an inspiration now that we’re heading further into the autumn season. All of these looks incorporate a cozy feeling and of course either a pop of leopard, blush tones, my most favorite English tweed blazer ever, and knee high or over the knee boots. I’ve created this list of either the exact items or similar ones to re-create these ensembles. I can’t wait for the leaves to starting popping too! We took a leaf ride over the weekend and some color is starting to show though. It’s quite a delight to see.

Burgundy Mix // NEPA Leaf Peak

Burgundy Coat c/o || Leopard Scarf || Striped Sweater c/o || Pink Blazer || Skinny Jeans || Similar Kate Spade Bag || Similar Leopard Loafers || Jackie Kennedy Earrings ||

Last weekend NEPA saw its peak of the brilliant fall colors with the trees ablaze in stunning reds, oranges, and yellows. I headed over to Hillside Farms to capture the beautiful scenes all around me. Each glance seemed as if I had stepped into a painting. For my photographic adventure, I wore this burgundy coat from Chicwish to keep me stylishly warm. It has an oversized fit, perfect for layering underneath!, and faux pearls for buttons. I love how this adds a splash of color to my outerwear. When the cold weather hits, all we pretty much see is what coat or jacket someone has on while outside. Why not make it something colorful and fun!

Fall In Love With Plaid

Similar Plaid Coat ( Mine is from Woolrich, Old) || White Turtleneck || Similar Camel Sweater || AG Skinny Jeans || JustFab Cream Booties c/o (Similar Here) || Melie Bianco Bag, Old, Similar Here || Stella & Dot Earrings || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Hello all and happy Wednesday! The leaves are starting to change into their beautiful radiant colors here in Pennsylvania. I was lucky enough to find this road that had some pretty yellows starting to pop. It was a cool crisp day, perfect for some layering! One of my favorite ways to layer is a turtleneck underneath a sweater topped off with a jacket. With this outfit I went with two neutrals and a plaid jacket to give the outfit some color and interest. Plaid will always be such a classic. I always think of Woolrich or Pendleton when thinking of plaid. They have some of the best!

Fall Colors In The Finger Lakes

Woolrich Peacoat || Green Sweater || Blue Blazer || AG Skinny Jeans || Tory Burch Riding Boots || Kate Spade Bag || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o || Quiz Rose Gold Earrings c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Unity Band ||

One trip I would look forward to every fall was to the finger lakes. It's where Justin and I went on our "mini moon" and continued to go back almost every year. We both completely fell in love with the area, scenery and how relaxing it is. The weekend after our wedding we took a small trip there to celebrate since we wouldn't be taking our big honeymoon for a few more months. We were never into the wine hopping tour scene, but rather went to only a few select favorites. In recent years, that solely became Bully Hill vineyards. Our favorite wine there is called Ravat 51, a sweet tropical wine that tastes like pineapples. Each little town has a main street with charming stores, coffee shops, restaurants and breathtaking views. Whether its one of the lakes, waterfalls, or simply gazing upon the changing leaves, there is a beautiful scene everywhere you look. I even think it looks a bit like Scotland in some of the shots I took, especially since I've been watching Outlander, which takes place in Scotland haha. Great show.

I knew I would layering on this trip since the weather was supposed to be cool, cloudy, and with some rain. It even flurried for a bit! I was not prepared for it to be that cold. I do love layering though. So many different combinations and options! I simply adore this bright yellow peacoat and how gorgeously the color pops. The perfect color to compliment the fall leaves and it brightens up a gloomy day. The color combination is deliciously fall inspired. For reference, I'm wearing an xs in the coat and a 00 in the sweater and blazer.
