Hello all and happy Wednesday! The leaves are starting to change into their beautiful radiant colors here in Pennsylvania. I was lucky enough to find this road that had some pretty yellows starting to pop. It was a cool crisp day, perfect for some layering! One of my favorite ways to layer is a turtleneck underneath a sweater topped off with a jacket. With this outfit I went with two neutrals and a plaid jacket to give the outfit some color and interest. Plaid will always be such a classic. I always think of Woolrich or Pendleton when thinking of plaid. They have some of the best!

Hello all and happy Tuesday! I'm sure you've noticed by now, but I kind of have a thing for detailed sleeves. I've always been a bit self conscious about my arms because they are sooo thin. I used to say I had sticks for arms. Don't even get me started on finding bracelets that would fit my tiny wrists. I really like this trend since its absolutely fun and also adds so volume to arms. Win, win! As soon as I saw this sweater I was hooked. It's a chunky knit, great for the chilly weather we've been having, has a turtleneck, and also has bell sleeves with tiny black bows on them. Now, I've got to be honest, I totally tied the bows wrong and didn't even realize it until way later in the day. The ribbon should go around the wrist from the bottom and then tie the bow on top. I never tied the ribbon around my wrist, so #fail haha. In any case, I'm completely in love with it.

It was freezing yesterday, i'm talking in the teens, so layering was a must. I really like the court style coat alone with this as it adds some texture and emphasizes the bell sleeves even more. The sweater is so warm that had it been a bit warmer, say in the 30s, I wouldn't have even needed the extra skater coat on top. The sweater is a one size fits all and fit me perfectly. It is on the cropped side though so keep that in mind. It's also under $22. I definitely plan on wearing this again before winter is out. Possibly with a skirt and some tights and a pop of color mixed in. I'll also try to get the bow tied right next time, haha! Hey, we all need to laugh at ourselves sometimes.

I hope that everyone is staying safe with the crazy weather that's been going on all over the country. Every night the news has been showing images and video of the wild weather wrecking buildings and trees. Scary stuff.

If I had to describe my style in three words it would be classic, feminine, and romantic. One word that usually never comes to mind is edgy. I've been trying to go a bit out of my comfort zone and try some different things. For me, this is about as edgy as I get! I have to say that I felt so comfortable and really liked the look. These leopard booties, swoon worthy just about sum them up, are a go-to for me when I want some statement shoes that really speak for themselves. The khaki turtleneck kept me feeling so warm and I love the color. Though its called khaki, I think it looks more like praline, which is even better. The color feels unique. My friend Alison actually took these photos for me during a photo shoot I was doing for her so thank you!
