Happy Good Friday dear friends! We’ve been having glimpses of spring weather and taking full advantage whenever Mother Nature permits. On one of these days, I was able to pull out some of my favorite spring dresses, particularly this white crochet one from a few Easter’s ago.

Sequin Skirt
Oh sequins, how I love thee. I'm always looking for ways to incorporate a bit of sparkle into my looks whether for everyday, a holiday, or special night out. This would be another great look for Valentine's Day. The sequin skirt is so glam and pretty, while the creamy white sweater keeps the look grounded and keeps you warm during the colder months. This skirt would also be great with a bright vibrant top, but for this I wanted to keep everything on the softer side. A nice little side note, wearing sparkly pieces can evoke a sense of joy. Worn with grounded pieces (think denim, a cable knit sweater, or something casual,) sequin pieces make every day a party!

Layering
I wore this layered look while out getting Ava bugs first pumpkin in the breezy cool weather. It was a quick trip for sure with all of us being chilled. I did not even have my camera with me so we had to take our photos on the iPhone. Later on in the day, and with much less wind, I took the photos above with a different scarf on. I absolutely adore wearing layers since it adds interest and dimension to an outfit. I recently picked up this Pendleton quilted vest while down at Peddler's Village and absolutely love it. It's lightweight enough to wear under a jacket like I am here, but also gives just the right amount of warmth for when the breeze is picking up a notch. I hope everyone is staying warm!

Once the weather cools down and fall approaches, I instantly start to look for fabrics that have a lush feeling, including velvet. There's nothing that seems more appropriate for the cooler weather than luxurious velvet in rich colors. This skirt is simply divine and has me feeling very chic in it! This was actually an outfit I wore towards the end of our Rehoboth Beach vacation, but one that I was the most excited to wear. Everyone in stores and on the street kept asking me where I got the skirt. People may want to keep their more formal pieces for night or special occasions, but I say rock them any time you want! I kept the look sweet by pairing it with blush and nude tones. Aren't these shoes a perfect dupe for Valentino's too!?! For less than $70.00 you cannot go wrong. The kitten heel was perfect for walking around town without any discomfort and keeping the look a little more casual than a higher heel would.

Lace and Leopard
Happy September! I cannot believe that August is actually over and we are finally into the transition season between summer and fall. September happens to be one of my favorite months right behind May. My parents and my own wedding anniversary are in September and only two days apart from one another. The weather usually starts to cool down a bit, the air feels crisp and clean, cozy sweaters start to come out and the spicy sweet scents like pumpkin and cinnamon start to fill the air. Are you excited yet?!
Until the weathers starts to get really cool, the transition season allows for some simple layering with your summer dresses and fall jackets. I love this white lace dress paired with a denim jacket. The white lace is so feminine while the jean jacket toughens up the look a bit, not to mention adds some much needed warmth for those cool nights. Add a pop of red and some leopard and the look instantly feels more autumn like. I've been craving all things red and leopard lately, my must have's for fall!

Happy Monday all! Today is all about soft colors. It's no secret how much I love blush tones mixed with mints and baby blues with some beautiful neutrals tied in. Finding the right piece of jewelry to compliment and not overwhelm such a delicate outfit is key. These baby unicorn earrings from Rox N Bunny do just that. They're a medium size so as to standout without being in your face and literally catch the light to give off such a radiant sparkle. They're a classic piece that would compliment any outfit from a polished work look to casual cool weekend wear.
On a side note, I cannot believe I'm 39 weeks pregnant already! Literally just waiting for the signal that its time. I've not been feeling the best entering into this week so I'm hoping that means things are gearing up for the big event. Wishing everyone a lovely week ahead!

Neutrals
Happy Monday all! I hope everyone enjoyed their July4th holiday weekend. I spent mine mostly with my dad and even snuck some time in there for visiting with friends. It did rain, but cleared up by nightfall which meant fireworks! Nothing seems more celebratory on July 4th than fireworks....

Happy Tuesday! Yesterday we actually had a break in the weather and it turned out to be a decent day! I got so much done around the house and even snuck in a few photo shoots too. A wonderful first day of summer......

Happy Thursday loves! The weather has been a bit gloomy lately, though the sun did finally make an appearance yesterday, so some pretty pastels were in order to cheer and brighten up the surroundings. Pastels always put me in a good mood and never fail to bring a smile to my face. While they definitely fit into the spring wardrobe, I find that pastels can work any time of the year and trust me, I certainly do wear them year round. I've been wearing this blush blazer so much lately to polish up any outfit or to simply keep me warm when the weather takes a slight dip. Definitely one of my favorite buys this year.

Nothing seems more summery to me than a sundress with a wide brim hat. The pretty combo tells of effortless days spent in the warm sun with a beautiful breeze passing on by. This vintage inspired Minnie Mouse dress feels so comfy and looks cute with the white piping details and the little white polka dots covering the entire canvas. Add some pops of red and you have an east breezy cool summer outfit. This would be especially good for the 4th of July celebrations in little over a month. Lets hope the weather makes a turn for the better before then!

Happy Monday loves! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends and for another who is a mother, then I wish you a very wonderful Mother's Day. I had the busiest weekend painting and carpeting Ava's nursery. Everything turned out fantastic and I could not be happier. This outfit need no introduction except that my love for Disney is never ending and Lauren Conrad perfectly captured the whimsical charm of Minnie Mouse in a grown up sophisticated way. Every piece in the new collection has a fun retro feel to it while still being stylish and fresh. The blouse I'm wearing has the cutest little Minnie Mouse print with pretty ruffles and a little collar. This collection is an absolute must for any Disney fan or anyone looking for a fun summer piece!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday so far! This look started completely with the shoes. I mean, how could you not fall in love with them?! The pretty blue bow and the sparkle just puts a smile on my face. In the spring and summer I love wearing white skinnies to help lighten up a look. To top it off, I went with the same cobalt blue palette with some beautiful blooms on it. This mint bag from Ivanka Trump has been a staple of mine for many seasons now. It's roomy enough to carry every essential and is the loveliest shade of mint. I found a similar one linked above since this is sold out. Cobalt blue has always caught my eye. It's such an attention grabber. I even used it as the main color for my wedding. Such a stunning shade of blue!

Good Monday morning to you! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was jam packed as usual with running around doing errands, baby sitting my dad's dog, and even a little movie time. This is another outfit from Chic Wish. If you haven't already, definitely go check their site out. I love the romantic feel this outfit has, especially with the blush skirt. The bow top I wore for this outfit as well not too long ago. I've had a color crush on blush for the past couple of years and always seem to gravitate towards it. I found the skirt to fit true to size. If you have a waist smaller than a 26 inch, then it may be a little loose. The delicate pattern of roses only adds to the charm of the skirt. The bow top is light weight and the skirt has a nice heaviness to it, but nothing that would over heat. Shop the look above and enjoy!

Happy Friday!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful week and some exciting or relaxing plans for the weekend ahead. Mine looks to be quite a busy one again, but I only wish the weather was going to be nicer! We are back into the low 40s and 50s with gloomy clouds and it even snowed here a bit yesterday! Crazy weather really. Speaking of weather, it was obviously very windy when I took these photos. Sometimes that works to my advantage with a nice breeze to float through my dress and hair or it can be terrible with whipping wind blowing everything out of control. Regardless, I fell in love with the color of this dress when it first arrived in stores for the spring season. I originally got it for my California vacation, but never had a chance to wear it out there. The peter pan color with delicate lace trimming really sold me as well as the elastic waist. The tie sash is not attached so you can position it however you would like. Right now it's on sale for under $40. Also, how cute are these sunglasses?? The polka dots caught my eye and pair perfectly with this dress. Enjoy your weekend!!

The weekend is almost here and that makes this girl very happy! I love a good detail and these scalloped edges are perfectly pretty for spring and summer. This is another type of pop over dress and has a stretchy material. Did you notice the back of this dress? Wow! The scalloping continues and reveals just the tiniest bit of your back. A good strapless bra comes in handy here. Right now the Loft is having a 60% off of their sale items, including this dress, so be sure to stop by and check it out. Links are above, but just be aware if you're selecting the regular or petite size. This does have a boxy fit to it and I could still fit into my usual 00p. Enjoy your Thursday my lovelies!
Afterglow Maxi Dress

There's nothing like the ease of a good maxi dress. I never used to wear them due to my 5"2' height, but with a heeled sandal, this works out perfectly. The sandal is not too high either which is great for this relaxed flowly look. I've been recently trying to find styles that will work for both pregnant and non-pregnant women alike and this dress definitely fits the bill. The waist sits higher and is stretchy with the pop over feature. Lets just say I'm definitely a big "pop over" fan right now. Did I mention how much I adore pleats too! I'll definitely be rocking this look into the summer months, which I cannot wait to get here. I think we all need a little warmth and sunshine in our lives right now!

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is just a skip, hop, and a jump away and I could not be more thrilled. We're supposed to have some gorgeous weather this Saturday which I plan on taking full advantage of by being outside. I wore this outfit last Saturday when I went antiquing with my dad. I wanted something casual yet pulled together. It was still chilly outside, but not enough that I needed a jacket. The blazer added some extra warmth while pulling the look together. I love the little pop of polka dot at the collar. It is those simple little details that make the huge difference. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I must admit that I love a good floral print all throughout the year, not just during spring time. The weather had been quite dreary with rain almost every day and cloudy skies. What better way to brighten up a day then with some pretty pops of color dusted with floral prints! Just looking at these pictures makes me feel cheery. These shoes are the sister ones to the green floral print I wore in the Citrus post from Shoedazzle. I just adore the embellishment and colors on both sets of shoes. Details always get me. Also, this white clutch from Shoedazzle is something that I can carry throughout the spring and summer months which always make me happy knowing I can get some distance out of an item.
I wanted to take a few moments to say how happy I was to see all of the support here on Enchanting Elegance and on Instagram for my "un-plugged" message. There is no doubt how wonderful it is to be connected to so many people at the touch of a finger, but sometimes it's good to step back and take a breather to spend some quality time with the people who are actually in front of us! Kisses to all!!
