From Summer To Fall
One of my favorite things about the transition season is being able to mix summer staples with new and exciting fall favorites. Cool mornings and evenings mixed with hot afternoons make this the perfect time to pull out those lightweight sweaters, such as this beach sweater, which is just as comfy as it is pretty, with shorts or skirts to keep you prepared for any variation in temperature.

Good morning, friends! While you’ll almost certainly find me in a dress most days, it is nice to switch it up with a fun pair of pants, especially these leopard skinny jeans, which are currently on sale! This look is great for a summer date night, but these jeans could also be worn for more casual days with a simple black or white t-shirt or even to the office with a chic pair of flats and a burgundy or navy top. Pops of pink also look fabulous with leopard as well! As for sizing with the jeans, I would go down one size for the best fit.

Pops Of Leopard
The humid weather finally broke the other day and I could not be happier! I dare say there was even a chill in the air to where I felt like I should have had a jacket on. No joke, when I let Belle out to go to the bathroom, I was actually shivering. It's crazy how the weather can switch from being a sauna to an ice box all within a day or two. In any case, it was time to pull out some fall favorites! Don't get me wrong, I'm still soaking up as much summer as I can since I know I'll miss it once its gone, but fall is my favorite season, especially the transition part. This is a time to layer and experiment with different textures and looks. I love how I can mix summer and fall together during with some transition styles.
This was a look I put together for the Nsale back in July. I love the polished feel the outfit has with a playful side of the forever fall favorite leopard. Once fall hits, I instantly start using leopard like a neutral too. The leopard pocket is the cutest little detail and obviously what won me over about the top. The shirt is so versatile, perfect for work or after hours, even some weekend fun! You can tuck the shirt into a black or burgundy skirt, add some heels and voila office chic. Wear the top with some skinny jeans and leopard flats and you have a laid back effortless weekend look. There are endless possibilities. These jeans too, love them! They're so soft and fit great with a streamlined look and nice dark rinse. If you're on the shorter side (wave hi, I am too :p ) you'll probably need to roll the hem just a bit. I usually do this with most of the jeans I own.

Happy Friday lovelies! I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. Another thing I'm excited about, Nordstrom is having their end of summer clearance sale with styles up to 40% off! I'm definitely snagging a few items. Make sure you take a look to see if there is anything you like. The dress I'm wearing here is part of the sale and selling out quick! It is perfect for fall with its cozy sweater material, knee length, and clean crisp stripes. I recently just got these leopard booties and am completely in love with them. Leopard is one of my favorite patterns and something you can never go wrong wearing. I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and has a fabulous weekend!!
Psst...I want to mention that Rox N Bunny recently launched their online store. I love their jewelry and wear it all the time. Their customer service is top notch too. Something you cannot always find these days. Make sure to take a look. I'll be talking more about them later, but wanted to give a shout out for their grand opening!

Lace and Leopard
Happy September! I cannot believe that August is actually over and we are finally into the transition season between summer and fall. September happens to be one of my favorite months right behind May. My parents and my own wedding anniversary are in September and only two days apart from one another. The weather usually starts to cool down a bit, the air feels crisp and clean, cozy sweaters start to come out and the spicy sweet scents like pumpkin and cinnamon start to fill the air. Are you excited yet?!
Until the weathers starts to get really cool, the transition season allows for some simple layering with your summer dresses and fall jackets. I love this white lace dress paired with a denim jacket. The white lace is so feminine while the jean jacket toughens up the look a bit, not to mention adds some much needed warmth for those cool nights. Add a pop of red and some leopard and the look instantly feels more autumn like. I've been craving all things red and leopard lately, my must have's for fall!

Gray Striped Sweater Seriously so soft and comfortable! || White Skinny Jeans || Leopard Studden Flats Great Valentino Dupes! || TB Tote || Mirroed Sunnies || Rox N Bunny Marble Earrings c/o || Rox N Bunny Bracelet c/o ||
Woo-ho it's finally Friday! The weather was cool again yesterday (I can taste the pumpkin spice latte's already) which meant I got to put on this super comfy striped sweater. Honestly, it's so soft and easy to wear with either white or blue skinnies, pops of red, leopard prints, or even some shorts for a nice transition look. I also have it in the ivory color and cannot wait to wear that one. I got it in a size small so it'd be a bit roomier and not too tight. I'm also completely obsessed with these leopard flats! I have the blush colored ones and could not pass up the leopard pair too. Definitely a wardrobe staple and the perfect little Valentino dupe for under $90. A complete steal!

Vintage Leopard
Stylishly Staying Warm
I must say, it has been quite cold here in the North East lately. Most days lately have reached below zero. I am so ready for Spring to get here! Until then, it's time to bundle up and try to stay warm. The leopard coat is vintage that my aunt found in Washington DC. It's from around the 1960s era, which only makes me love it even more! The leggings are Target and the black booties are Rock & Republic for Kohls. I usually do not wear items that have an "edgy" feel to them, but these were too cool to pass up and look great paired with anything black. The gloves come from Banana Republic Factory Store, and the earrings are replica Jackie Kennedy's, listed below. The glittery scarf from Mark does not provide any kind of warmth, but it is so gorgeous and instantly perks up any outfit. The black quilted bag, also from Mark, is great for being so versatile and just big enough to fit all of the essentials. Below are the exact earrings and similar items to replicate this look.
Anything But Basic
Date Night
Happy Thursday everyone! The weekend is almost here and I know that makes me one happy girl. With that comes date night and the ever challenging question of what to wear? I was feeling a vintage mood, honestly when am I not??, and decided on this beautiful tulle dress from Target from a few seasons ago. Since the temperatures can dip quite low in the winter, I wanted to layer a shirt underneath and went with a polka dot pattern from LC Lauren Conrad. To kick it up a notch, I added this beautiful fascinator from Modcloth, pictured below, and my favorite leopard heels from Nine West, also pictured below. To complete the look, layers upon layers of pearls. The earrings are replica of Jackie Kennedy'sand pictured below.
Hues of Harvest
Color Course
I've been snuggling up in some cozy sweaters lately and this cropped one fits perfectly into the new season. It should be mentioned that it tucks quite nicely into any skirt. No extra fabric to bunch up and look messy. The wine colored faux leather skirt adds some nice texture to any outfit and brings a sense of fun and youthfulness. As mentioned before, the leopard shoes blend in perfectly to match the color pallet of cream, wine, pink, red, and mustard yellow. The idea here is to add some texture and color into your Fall wardrobe. I love a simple black dress or outfit, but try to incorporate other rich colors once the weather turns cooler. The shoes, skirt, and sweater are from LC Lauren Conrad.
This purse, from Carolton's in Rehoboth Beach, is the quint essential Fall hand bag. Perfect with its mustard yellow color, brown and black trim, and medium size so as not to over whelm, but big enough to carry necessary items in.
Wine Tasting
Summer to Fall
This was such a fun photo shoot to do. My idea came from the old saying of never wearing white after Labor Day. It's one of those rules that some stick to religiously and others say rules are meant to be broken. I never liked the rule per say. Yes, bright whites do look best in the summer sun, but who says you cannot take your bright summer whites and transform them into Fall appropriate pieces? There came there inspiration to take my LC Lauren Conrad white lace dress and carry it from a Summer style into a Fall. A few key accessory changes and the look was updated. As for that old rule about Labor Day, I saw wear your whites year round. A creamier winter white looks absolutely divine during the colder months and ever so chic.
- The first look is the bright Summer white with red shoes, a gold bag, and a pink stone necklace.
- My update for Fall look one incorporates an LC Lauren Conrad wine colored blazer. Next, a brown bow bag, a red rhine stone necklace and purple sparkly heels.
- The update for Fall look two incorporates the same wine colored blazer, only this time I added leopard heels from LC's line and a leopard purse from Mark. Leopard is one of those neutral prints I adore. My favorite of all the animal prints.
Here we have some of the accessories used from the photo shoot.
A close up of the two necklaces worn. The pink summer style is a replica of Jackie Kennedy's and the red rhine stone heart is from my mother's collection. The pearl earrings in the title photo were used in all the shots. They are also from my mom.

Puurfect
This puurfect outfit embraces a simple black monochromatic look with the pencil skirt and shirt. The top's stripped layering effect is built into it from Modcloth. Next, add on some lovely leopard accessories and voila! a new outfit is born. This look will never go out of style. The ever chic black and white combo combined with any animal print defies the changing trends and lends a hand to the meaning of timeless.
The heels are from LC Lauren Conrad and the clutch comes from Target. In my opinion, these heels really pack a one two punch and are effortless to walk in!
