Happy Friday, friends! We finally made it to the weekend and I could not be any happier! Yesterday, literally everyone in my family got sick, even our cat Chelsea. Needless to say it was a bit intense. Anyone else going to see Bond this weekend? Ive been counting down the days for this movie, and as long as I'm feeling well enough, I'm definitely going to see it!
Today Im sharing this chic layered look I wore for a day out with little Ava. I've become a bit obsessed with it and cannot wait to pair it with some holiday looks coming up. The holidays are all about some sparkle! Stylishly Staying Warm
I must say, it has been quite cold here in the North East lately. Most days lately have reached below zero. I am so ready for Spring to get here! Until then, it's time to bundle up and try to stay warm. The leopard coat is vintage that my aunt found in Washington DC. It's from around the 1960s era, which only makes me love it even more! The leggings are Target and the black booties are Rock & Republic for Kohls. I usually do not wear items that have an "edgy" feel to them, but these were too cool to pass up and look great paired with anything black. The gloves come from Banana Republic Factory Store, and the earrings are replica Jackie Kennedy's, listed below. The glittery scarf from Mark does not provide any kind of warmth, but it is so gorgeous and instantly perks up any outfit. Getting Ready for the Holidays
I adore anything that has sparkle or shine to it. The luxe detail brings one thing to mind for me, the holiday season, which is getting closer as we speak. Excited yet? I know I sure am. The outfit is perfect for any upcoming holiday events and will be sure to get you noticed. I went for a neutral gray palette with some silver sparkles and metallic shoes. Silver belles anyone? The gorgeous chiffon skirt, which you may notice is the same one from my Mint To Be post, only in a different color. The luxe sparkly sweater and metallic shoes lend that holiday vibe that I am so looking forward to. The I Love Lucy clutch was a gift from my grandmother when she visited the I Love Lucy museum a few years back. She loves the show, as do I, and this was the perfect gift.
